Live seafood exports · Florida → Asia

It left the water alive. It arrives alive.

Live seafood loses value by the hour — and most exporters lose the shipment somewhere over the Pacific. Atlantic Tide moves glass eels and premium live seafood from our dockside tanks to Asia's top markets on a cold chain built for one thing: survival.

What we export

Graded live. Packed to travel.

Every product below is graded by hand, rested in oxygenated seawater, and packed only when it is strong enough to make the flight. If it isn't strong, it doesn't ship — that's the whole business model.

Live Glass Eels (Elvers)

Our signature export. Wild-caught glass eels are graded by size and vigor within hours of harvest, held in chilled, oxygenated systems, and flown to eel farms and distributors across East Asia — the most time-sensitive cargo in seafood, handled by the people who built their name on it.

Live Lobster

Hard-shell, full-meat lobster selected one by one — weak or soft-shell animals never make the box. Chilled to slow metabolism before packing, so they land feisty, not fragile.

Premium Shrimp & Prawns

Large-count shrimp and prawns for live and fresh-chilled programs, sorted by count and condition at the dock — never washed out, never sitting in meltwater.

How it works

Water to market in four moves

No warehouses sitting on your product, no middlemen adding days. One chain of custody, timed backwards from the flight.

The morning's catch on ice at the dockside grading table
STEP 01

Harvest & Grading

Product comes off the boat or out of the holding system and is graded by hand — size, strength, and condition. Only export-grade animals move forward.

Hour 0–6
Inside the chilled packing facility where export boxes are prepared
STEP 02

Oxygen-Packed Cold Chain

Animals rest in chilled, oxygenated seawater, then are sealed with pure oxygen in insulated export boxes. Temperature is logged from pack-out to wheels-up.

Hour 6–14
A cargo aircraft being loaded at night for the flight to Asia
STEP 03

Air Freight, Same Night

Boxes move in refrigerated trucks to the airport and onto that night's flight — health certificates, customs paperwork, and airway bills handled by our export desk.

Hour 14–20
Fresh seafood on sale at a wholesale market in Asia the morning after arrival
STEP 04

Delivered Alive

Your team or our in-market partners clear and collect on landing. Boxes are opened, survival is counted with you, and the count goes on the record for every shipment.

Hour 36–48

Quality & survival standards

Alive on arrival isn't luck. It's a checklist.

Dead-on-arrival is where exporters quietly lose their buyers. We publish our standard and stand behind it on every box:

  • 95%+ live-arrival standard on graded glass eel and lobster shipments — counted at opening, with you on the call.
  • Temperature logged end to end — every box carries a logger; the trace is yours to review with the invoice.
  • Rest before travel — nothing is packed straight off the boat; stressed animals rest in oxygenated systems first.
  • Full export documentation — health certificates, origin and catch paperwork, and destination import requirements checked before pack-out, not after.
  • Licensed & traceable sourcing — every lot traces back to a licensed harvester and a harvest date.
The arrival promise

If a graded shipment lands below the agreed live-arrival standard, we credit the shortfall on your next order. The count is done together, at opening — no arguments, no fine print.

About Atlantic Tide

Dock people first. Exporters second.

Atlantic Tide Exports started the way most honest seafood companies do: on the dock, grading other people's catch and watching good product lose its value in slow, careless supply chains. The buyers in Asia were paying for live. What they were getting, too often, was "was alive when it left."

So we built the chain ourselves — dockside holding tanks, our own grading tables, our own pack-out room, and freight booked backwards from the flight. Today we work directly with licensed harvesters along the Florida and Caribbean coasts and with importers, farms, and wholesale groups across five Asian markets.

No trading desk, no mystery lots, no product we haven't put our own hands on. When you call, you talk to the people who graded your shipment.
